Prayer Request

For my stepchildren to have a conversion and my grandchildren to be baptized and receive the sacraments. Also for my nephew and wife as they navigate the management of their toddlers type 1 diabetes.

For healing of Kathy’s pain in her feet with torn tendons and pain in her knees and back, if it’s God’s will. May our entire family stay well, safe, and healthy now until the end of January as our family will travel all together for a vacation, and for their wellbeing and safety. For all priests working very long and hard hours to ensure Christmas confessions, masses and events are carried out. May many people who left the Church, return due to coming to Christmas Mass. For Pat who is off chemo and nearing death. May he welcome seeing his children before he dies. For all who are homeless or alone. May they know Christs love for them through the kindness of people. World peace!

I pray that my children and grandchildren will come back to the Catholic faith.

Prayers please for our 7 yr. old granddaughter, Vivian Bucha, as she navigates chemotherapy treatments for brain cancer. May she feel better and be able to enjoy the holidays!

Thank you for all you do, I start my day, everyday, with one of your readings! I wanted to ask for prayer for my family, which is large. That each and everyone will have a blessed Christmas and they find their hope in Christ!

Please pray for my last remaining sister, who is suffering from dementia, and I am suffering with her. Please also pray for my daughter who has cut off all contact. I haven't seen or heard from her in over a year (she is a middle age adult). Please pray that she can find forgiveness and that we can emerge from this in God's Great Love and Peace. That a cure is found for the medical condition she is having.

That our Lord calls her as she has been suffering for over 10 years with a medical condition. That she finds comfort in knowing that that one day she will be with the Lord and at this time her suffering is for her family.

Please pray for my nephew, John. His cancer has returned and he just finished treatment and will now be evaluated for a stem cell transplant. He has a rare cancer in his throat and it is so close to his vocal chord, they don't want to do surgery. Pray also for his brother, Joey. Joey had spinal meningitis at the age of 3 months. He is now 60. He has lived with his disabilities his whole life, but always with a big cheerful smile on his face. In the past year, he had to move into a nursing home & he is so depressed, he seems to have given up on life. He has lost most of the use of his right arm, which was his good arm. He can no longer feed himself and is very depressed. John is his caregiver.

Prayers for my wife Barbara Burke will be in heaven, she passed away on September 13 of this year.
